Welcome to the website for the Goshen County Treasurer's Office. Please browse this site to gain information regarding the functions and duties of this office. The Treasurer is responsible for collecting taxes including property taxes, motor vehicle fees, and sales tax on vehicle purchases. Fees collected for vehicle registration are in lieu of property taxes. Other responsibilities of the treasurer are receiving all money belonging to the county, maintaining a true accounting of all county receipts and expenditures, disbursing money for county obligations on the warrants of the County Commissioners, and investing unencumbered money in accordance with the County Invenstment Policy.
