During the month of February, the Victim Assistance Office provided services to 248 total victims with 39 new victims in 24 new cases and 209 victims in ongoing cases. These services were provided through 51 personal contacts,108 phone contacts, 254 written contacts, 46 court escorts, and 86 research and restitution. Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in February, 42 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 35 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff's Office, 1 case by the Wyoming Highway Patrol, and 1 case by the Lingle Police Department.
In order to accomplish this the Goshen County Victim Assistance staff and volunteers worked a total of 391 hours.
