JANUARY 2010 PRESS RELEASE

          During the month of January Goshen County Victim Assistance provided services to 186 total victims with 12 new cases and 28 new victims.  These services were provided through 31 Personal Contacts, 156 Written Contacts, 75 Phone Contacts,  54 Court Escorts, 74 Research and Restitution situations.  Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in January 27 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 23 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff's Department, 1 case by the Wyoming Highway Patrol and 1 case by the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation.
