Public Works/GIS Specialist

Goshen County is seeking an individual to fill the full time position of Public Works /GIS Specialist

This position will serve under the direction of the Goshen County Public Works/GIS Department Committee, to coordinate system management activities, provide technical support and assistance to the county, city, and private entities, utilization of the GIS system to produce graphic and analytical products, conduct software/hardware feasibility studies relating to GIS, provide development, testing, installation, and training of new systems and applications, direct in the permitting process within the county and to coordinate data exchange/access with other public and private entities.

Minimum Qualifications:  2 Yrs Vocational/Technical School, 2 Yrs Experience in the GIS field or a closely related field.

Salary range $30,000 - $40,000 annually depending on experience.  Benefits package available.
