July 2007 PRESS RELEASE During the month of July, the Goshen County Victim Assistance Office provided services to 247 total victims with 28 new cases and 238 new victims. These services were provided through 44 Personal Contacts, 213 Written Contacts, 72 Phone Contacts, 63 Court Escorts, 87Research and Restitution situations. Of the total new and ongoing cases worked in June, 43 cases were investigated by the Torrington Police Department, 36 cases by the Goshen County Sheriff’s Office, 1 case by the Platte County Sheriff’s Department, 1 cases by the Lingle Police Department, and 1case by the Wyoming Highway Patrol. In order to accomplish this the Goshen County Victim Assistance Staff and Volunteers worked a total of 280.5 hours.
